I must be honest. I have just discovered an eerie surprise that may be absolutely nothing...but, just might be something, and is nevertheless quite intriguing. While taking in all that my finite mind can be wrapped around at any given moment which I will admit is minuscule at times I stumbled upon a very interesting observation that I had not noticed even though I had seen the article days before. While tracking back, as I sometimes do, I noticed that leading up to the 'veepstakes' before Joseph Biden was chosen to be Barack Obama's VP running mate, the Obama camp was looking to stir up a little controversy and reach out to the young and technologically minded by offering to sms/text the name of his vice presidential pick to his followers. In various ads run in more than a few markets, the reader/listener/viewer was asked to participate in a first ever text response campaign in which the hopeful voter would send the message HOPE to the number 62262. The Obama camp would then respond with the name of his VP choice as soon as it was decided, hopefully before it was leaked and decidedly before it was publicly announced.
It really has me dumbfounded that I did not see the 62262 as anything significant before. I am finding that the more I research this seemingly benign morsel of information the more malignant it appears. At second glance, I initially decided that it was nothing more than coincidence; simply a natural link to schizophrenic conspiracy theory and wacko supposition, but now I'm not so sure. Even though I already lean toward Obama being the Antichrist himself, it really didn't seem to be much, so, I decided to give it a good once over for anything I might be able to glean and share with the public at large. What I found was nothing short of amazing in my view.
First, to my surprise, the numbers 62262 evidently spells out the last name of the Democratic presidential candidate O-B-A-M-A on a telephone keypad. This was something, but not concrete in any way shape or form, so I pressed on. I also noticed, as many others have (I have since learned while surfing the web) that 6+2+2+6+2 could also be rendered 6/6/(2+2+2=)6. O.K. Again, interesting but not a reason to shout it from the rooftops, yet, it was beginning to really tickle my senses. Could this mean something or is it just another Ronald(6) Wilson(6) Reagan(6) or Nero(with an 'n' added [Neron] by conspiracy theorists to equal six-hundred and sixty-six in the Greek numerology calculator). So, like any good Christian, I turned the Bible for answers and clues and I found the following sure to give anyone a little somethin' to chew on:
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
In the lexicon 'the number' [from the Greek ἀριθμός - 'arithmos' (δ-rēth-mo's)] is where we get our word arithmetic. The way to interpret this word correctly is debatable and speculative at best, though it most certainly refers to a mathematical equation. Many scholars are divided on whether this means to calculate a name using the Hebrew gematria or Greek numerology, or if the name is a simple addition or multiplication problem. Many of these same teachers of Scripture would disagree with the inference that one could use anything other than the numerology of Christ's day, be it Greek or Hebrew-Aramaic - because, they would say, these were the only two languages spoken in Israel during this period and they both use letters to express numbers and nothing like this exists in the English language...or does it? We must remember that if indeed these are the days God was pointing to, it would make just as much sense that He would be able to foresee the use of 'texting' - which is quickly becoming a foremost language in and of itself, being used by hundreds of millions of cell phone users around the world...if U no wut Im sa N hom E...since God is omniscient. We should not put constraints on something that cannot be interpreted dogmatically. For example, if we read that 'a chariot flew through the air,' it could be - though not necessarily - the writer was meaning the airplane of the future.
The phrase translated 'of his' [from the Greek αὐτός - 'autos' (au-to's)] is the pronoun from which we get the English transliteration 'auto' in the sense of autobiography, autonomy, and autocracy; or in other words...self. Though this is the traditional biblical translation the lexicon also explains that a second meaning is 'the same as' and has the sense of 'being equal to' something.
'Name' [from the Greek ὄνομα - 'onoma' (o'-no-mδ)] is rendered name but it encompasses the feel of rank and authority as well as being used as a personal label.
With this information in mind, the previous Scripture could read a little differently if we substitute the other meanings in place of the tradition translation something like this:
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number [that when calculated is the same as or equal to] of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
This rendering is applicable to other Scriptures where this phrase is used, or others very similar to it:
Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. - (or the number, that when calculated, is the same as [or equal to] his name)
This is a little unnerving to me now in light of the OBAMA/62262 text messaging phenomena, since clearly the number, if rearranged to make 666 would be the 'same as his name.'
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six.
To add to this craziness, I have discovered that the lexicon found at http://BlueLetterBible.org defines this counting, or calculation as thus:
From the Greek ψηφίζω - 'psēphizō' (psā-fē'-zō) verb:
1) to count with pebbles, to compute, calculate, reckon
2) to give one's vote by casting a pebble into the urn
3) to decide by voting
This counting is the same word used by Christ when He was admonishing His disciples in parable regarding the tower builder and his estimating the cost of completing it, before he has broken ground. It has the sense of adding up everything in Christ parable to make sure you knew the total cost. In Revelation 13:18 it would appear that we are to add up the numbers of his name. Either way you look at it, this is beyond boring and possibly a legitimate lead in the search for the identity of the imp of Satan, called the Antichrist. I was even a little amused by the reference to 'voting' in the second and third descriptions.
While this alone means absolutely nothing except to the prophecy fiend or the conspiracy theorist, it is one more piece of information to add to the growing mountain of evidence that makes the compass of chaos point in Barack Obama's direction.
While we cannot be sure, yet, exactly who the Satan's puppet is, I am convinced that we are nearing that day with break-neck speed which, in my estimation, means my brethren and I are not long for this world suiting me just fine. Yeshua the Moshiach of YHVH (YHWH) is even at the very door answer to Him and kneel willingly while you still can. Even so, Lord Jesus...Come!

Countdown to the Crowning of the King
Just a note on the Obama infomercial just released. I find it very interesting, to say the least, that Barack Obama is once again using the O-B-A-M-A (62262 as seen in the screen shot below) to interact with the American people. There is no denying that this is a favorite way the Obama camp seeks support and also lends strength to the argument that 'text language' is just as viable a candidate for the deciphering of the number of the beast as Greek numerology and Hebrew gematria - the only two possibilities allowed by most biblical scholars, teachers and preachers. I also find it less than ironic that it is VOTE you are supposed to be texting to his numerical name in the instructions on the screen in light of the etymological discovery in the previous text.
Call me paranoid, call me a wacko, call me a conspiracy theorist...or call me a Christian who is looking to the clouds for the return of my Savior any day now! Again I say Obama will win this election and the world will never be the same.
